Melissa Joan Hart is being sued by her former talent agent for fraud and breach of oral contract, among several other claims, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

In court documents, obtained by RadarOnline.com, Kieran Maguire alleges that the actress “has no heart, as evidenced by this action and a recent action filed against her for racial profiling. This case is also about Hart’s fraudulent promise to pay for talent management services when she clearly had no intention of doing so.”

Maguire also seeks a judicial declaration that Hart has a continuing obligation to pay commissions to Maguire for all compensation she receives in the future on her sitcom Melissa & Joey.

According to the lawsuit, Hart retained Maguire in 2006, and was supposed to pay 10% earnings to her agent, and for five years, she did so. The lawsuit says that earlier this year, Hart fired Maguire.

“Maguire informed Hart that her decision to fire him did not absolve her contractual responsibility to continue to pay Maguire his 10% commission for all future compensations Hart receives from the Show.”

The suit seeks unspecified damages.

Joey Lawrence, the star and an executive producer on the ABC Family comedy series, Melissa & Joey, will be directing an episode of the show for the upcoming Season 2.

“It will be nice to sink my teeth back into the behind the camera responsibilities,” Lawrence tells The Hollywood Reporter.

This marks the first time Lawrence will be directing for the series and his first time directing since 1997 on his series Brotherly Love for NBC, which later moved to The WB.

“It feels like a natural progression for actors to direct at some point,” he says “And I’m pleased that my network is confident in my abilities and is giving me the opportunity.”

Lawrence begins his directing stint on Oct. 24 on Episode 8 currently titled, “Wherefore Art Thou Lennox.” In the episode, his character carries on a long distance flirtation before the exotic beauty suddenly pays him a visit. And Melissa faces off with a veteran member of the city council.

Lawrence’s co-star and series EP, Melissa Joan Hart, will also direct an episode of the series for next season. While she has directed before, Hart will be the first female to direct on the series.

Melissa & Joey was ABC Family’s top comedy launch in the key ad-preferred demographics when it was renewed in July. Season 2 is currently in production and will air in 2012.

In this exclusive interview, Taylor sharest her upcoming birthday plans (she turns 18 on Oct. 23rd), and the special chemistry between herself and co-stars Melissa Joan Hart, Joey Lawrence and Nick Robinson. She also reveals the coolest thing about her life, and who she thinks about every day on the way to work.

You just wrapped up the first season of Melissa & Joey. Did you watch the finale?
Yes I did. My closest friends came over. They are at every taping and they’re super supportive so they came over and watched it with me. We ordered a pizza and everything, so it was fun.

Are there any episodes from this past season that stand out in your mind as being one of your favorites?
One of The Them was one that aired the other night with Joey, where I go to the semi-formal and we have this amazing father/daughter moment in the car. That’s definitely one that stands out to me. And then the one where Melissa sneaks me into a club and I have to jump out the window. That was pretty fun to film.

The show was picked up for a second season, which is scheduled to air in 2012. Have you begun filming for it yet?
Yes, we have. We’re actually on our third episode

Is there anything in particular we should be looking forward to next season?
There’s some love interests for Lennox. There’s some big turning points in her life. She definitely has grown up a lot second season, so that should be cool for everyone to see.

Can you describe for us the chemistry on set between you and your co-stars? It looks like you all have a lot of fun.
Yea, it is. We’re all very close. That is our little family. Our entire cast, our entire crew, everyone. We’re with these people five days a week, all day pretty much, so we’re definitely very close. Melissa, I look up to her a lot and I tell her everything and she’s always there to kind of help me out.. She’s amazing. She’s super down-to-earth and so is Joey, and Nick is my annoying little brother. How we are on screen is basically how we are in Real Life. I think that’s why when people watch, it seems like we’re having so much fun because we are. We’re kind of just being ourselves in a way.

Debi Mazar is ditching her Entourage to hang with Melissa & Joey.

TVLine has learned exclusively that the actress will guest star on the ABC Family fave as Harper Quinn, a straight-shooting political consultant/”spin doctor” enlisted by Mel (Melissa Joan Hart), who is seeking city council re-election. Harper enters the picture when Mel seeks her help in smoothing over a much-too-public scuffle.

Mazar’s episode is slated to air in spring 2012, when Season 2 of the comedy kicks off.

Mazar recently wrapped an eight-season run as super-publicist Shauna on HBO’s Entourage, which aired its series finale Sept. 11.
